This is a network for smokers & non smokers in the London area who would like to have an alternative to pubs, and the smoking restrictions. Both smokers who would like to be able to socialise, drink, and smoke indoors, and non smokers who don't have any issues with others smoking around them, indoors.
We have an events diary to enable members, if and whenever they wish, to either invite other members to their home for a "pub night", where members and friends are free to smoke indoors, or, to check when other members have something arranged at their place, and ask to be invited. This can be on any basis, whether it be a party or just a social gathering.
It's like going to the pub as it was back in the days of normality, but with a difference. So, you can either have a few friends round to your place for drinks and invite a few members, or you can go out with your friends to a member's house, with other members there, and meet new people.
And you are most welcome to discuss pubs in the London area where smoking is allowed indoors. Oooh, naughty.
This is a social networking site with a difference. We are not here to chit chat about how much we hate the smoking ban, we are here to get our real social lives back. As more and more people join, and people begin to organise "pub nights" at their houses, we will at last have real options of where to go out to on a friday or saturday (or any) night.
The centrepiece of this website is the
* WHAT'S ON? * section. If I were to delete every section on this website except one, the
* WHAT'S ON? * section would remain. This website is nothing without it. It is your directory. There's no pressure to invite people to your place if you don't want to, but there will be those here who will do that, and then, things will start to happen.

Some of us may never even meet each other in person at these social gatherings but it doesn't matter, as long as there are enough "pub nights" to ensure that we all have somewhere to go and have fun. No, not that kind of fun. Stop it, just stop it. We're a respectable bunch.
And if you feel the spirit move you, then I urge you to create your own network. It's so easy. I'm not competing with anyone, I'm just doing my own thing. So go ahead and let's turn this into something massive, and completely unstoppable. I want networks like this one everywhere.
